Joint CSIR UGC NET December 2026 is a science eligibility examination, not recruitment to a government job. Normal form and fee submission is 7 October-5 November until 11:50 PM. Late window 6-9 November adds Rs 500.
Science subjects and qualifications
Subjects are Chemical Sciences; Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences; Life Sciences and Bio-Technology; Mathematical Sciences; Physical Sciences. Read the masters, result-awaited and four- year degree conditions. Four- year degree candidates do not gain Assistant Professor eligibility through that route.
Correction and examination
Correction runs 10-12 November until 11:50 PM. Exams are scheduled 19, 22 and 27 December, with shifts 9 AM-noon and 3-6 PM. Your admit card will give the assigned subject, date, shift and centre. Release dates for city slips, admit cards and results are not announced.
