The Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBP) has invited online applications for 126 Constable (General Duty) posts under the Sports Quota, 72 for men and 54 for women. Group C, Level 3 pay.

Sports Eligibility
- Only players who took part or won medals between 1 January 2024 and 1 November 2026 are considered.
- International: took part or won medals, with clearance from the Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
- National: represented a State/UT in senior or junior national championships or National Games and finished up to 3rd place.
- Inter-University: represented a university in AIU or Khelo India University Games and finished up to 3rd place.
- Khelo India: represented a State/UT in Khelo India Youth Games (above 18 category) or Winter Games and finished up to 3rd place.
- Upload the certificate of your highest medal or level of participation with the application.
Application Fee
- Rs 100 online for male UR, OBC and EWS candidates.
- Women, SC and ST candidates are exempt.
Selection Process and Physical Standards
- Applications and sports certificates are scrutinised, then eligible candidates get an admit card for documentation, Physical Standard Test (PST) and Detailed Medical Examination.
- There is no written exam.
- Sports Trial Test of 40 marks, qualifying only. Minimum 20 marks needed. Trial marks are not counted in the final merit list. Candidates who represented India in an international event with Sports Ministry clearance are exempt.
- Final merit list is made on the sports achievement marks in the advertised discipline (for example Olympic gold 100 marks, Asian Games gold 85, National Games or Senior National gold 30). Highest marks rank higher; ties go to higher international then national achievement, then the younger candidate.
- Height: male 170 cm, female 157 cm, with relaxation for certain categories and regions as per the notice.
- Chest (male): 80 cm unexpanded with at least 5 cm expansion.
