Eligibility and Experience
- Age: 23-30 years on 1 September 2026; born 2 September 1996 to 1 September 2003 inclusive.
- Accepted education: Master's in Hindi with English as major/elective at graduation; OR Master's in English with Hindi as major/elective at graduation; OR Master's in another subject with Hindi major/elective and English medium at degree level; OR Master's in another subject with English major/elective and Hindi medium at degree level.
- Correspondence, distance-education and open-university degrees are not accepted under this notice.
- One year of English-Hindi translation work in a bank/financial institution is desirable, not stated as mandatory. Computer competency and typing/creating translated text in Word and Excel in Hindi and English are required. AI translation-tool experience is an added qualification.
Fee, Pay and Appointment
- Application fee: Rs 1,000 per candidate, plus bank transaction charges.
- Grade E basic pay: Rs 44,900; starting total monthly emoluments approximately Rs 91,070; annual CTC approximately Rs 17.39 lakh, per September 2026 notice.
- One-year probation. Service bond: Rs 2 lakh for a minimum 3-year service commitment; see the official terms.
Selection Process
Online examination, skill test and item-writing exercise, group exercises and personal interview. Candidates must qualify each online test and achieve sufficiently high scores for shortlisting; IBPS decides cut-offs.

The first three tests are in English; Hindi Language is in Hindi. Wrong answers lose one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question. Unanswered questions have no penalty. IBPS may modify the structure through its website.
