PAT 64/2026 offers two temporary microbiology posts. Both interviews are Friday, 16 October, but the reporting times differ.
Morning BSc, afternoon MSc
PA-I requires BSc Microbiology/equivalent, reporting 9-9:30 AM. PAT-I requires MSc Microbiology/equivalent, reporting 1:30-2 PM. Stipend is Rs 20000 plus HRA for PA-I; PAT-I gets Rs 31000 plus HRA for the specified national-test route, Rs 25000 plus HRA otherwise.
The morning PA-I reporting closes at 9:30 AM, even though the afternoon PAT-I window is later. The overall 16 October date is not a 9:30 AM extension.
Bring originals and form
Bring Annexure I, original certificates, self-attested copies, valid ID and one passport photo. AcSIR/listed MoU university students with an ongoing higher degree need Annexure II NOC. Without originals applicants cannot appear. No TA/DA.
Tenure conflict
The introduction says up to March 2027, possible October 2027; the general clause says one year. Confirm the offered term rather than assume guaranteed one-year work. Six years cumulative CSIR project service bars eligibility.
See the separate PAT 61 online vacancy.
