Fresh applications for the UP Scholarship (Post-Matric other than Intermediate, also called Dashmottar) 2026-27 are open till 31 October 2026. Renewal applications close on 15 October 2026. Apply only on the official UP scholarship portal.
Who Can Apply
- Students of General, SC, ST, OBC and notified minority categories.
- Levels covered: undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, ITI, polytechnic, doctoral and other recognised courses.
- Money goes by DBT to the Aadhaar-linked bank account of the student.
Important Process Dates
- Renewal form and hard copy to institution: 15 September to 15 October 2026.
- Institute verification and forwarding for renewal: till 25 October 2026.
- Fresh registration and online application: 15 September to 31 October 2026.
- University verification of fresh applications: till 25 November 2026.
