Punjab Court Clerk Syllabus 2026 for notice 37C/SSSC/PB/2026 has a 100-mark, two-hour written CBT and a later qualifying Computer Proficiency Test. Prepare for both objective and typed subjective English; this is not a GK-only examination.

The essay is150words. Candidates need33% in each subject and40% aggregate. Subjective English is checked only for candidates meeting the33% GK requirement. Each wrong multiple-choice answer deducts0.25mark; unattempted questions receive no credit or deduction.
Spreadsheet and English typing
PartI spreadsheet testing has10marks and10minutes. Passing needs4marks or more. PartII English typing requires30WPM, with the notice formula (words typed minus mistakes) divided by10. PartII is checked only for candidates qualifying PartI. CPT marks do not add to final merit.
What decides the final list?
After qualifying both written exam and CPT, the candidates called by the High Court complete original-testimonial checks/interaction. Final merit is based on written CBT marks. The notice includes tightly defined disability exemptions with medical documentation; do not assume every PwBD candidate is automatically exempt.
Practice priorities
- Practise GK accuracy because it gates subjective-English checking.
- Type an essay, letter,precis and translation under the overall time limit.
- Practise spreadsheet tasks, then a10minute English typing passage.
- Read later official date/admit instructions; this notice does not fix a CBT date.
