The Odisha Public Service Commission released Advt 13 of 2026-27 on 9 October 2026 for 758 Assistant Executive Engineer posts: 750 in Civil and 8 in Mechanical. Reports say 612 of the Civil posts are backlog vacancies.

Eligibility
A degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or AMIE where allowed, and a valid GATE score from 2024, 2025 or 2026. Age is 21 to 42 years as on 1 January 2026 with relaxation as per rules. Read the notice for language and domicile conditions.
Selection and pay
Shortlisting on GATE score, then document verification and interview. Pay is Level 12, Cell 1 under ORSP 2017.
