Qualification and Eligibility
- Graduation in any discipline from a government-recognised university or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
- Graduation must have been passed from 1 January 2023 to 1 September 2026 inclusive.
- Selection requires at least 60% in Class 12/HSC/10+2 or Diploma; 55% for SC/ST/PwBD. A fraction is ignored: 59.99% is below 60%, and 54.99% is below 55%.
- The candidate must not have completed, be pursuing or have been terminated for their own fault from apprenticeship under the Act.
- Candidates with one year or more of training or job experience after completing the educational qualification are ineligible. Ex-servicemen/disabled ex-servicemen are not engaged under this notice.
- NATS enrolment with 100% complete profile is required before the bank application.
Age Limit and Relaxation
- Base age: 20-28 years on 1 September 2026; born from 2 September 1998 to 1 September 2006 inclusive.
- SC/ST: 5 years; OBC-NCL: 3 years; PwBD: 10 years. Read the notice for permitted cumulative relaxation and certificates.
- Widows/divorced women/women legally separated and not remarried: upper ages 35 General/EWS, 38 OBC, 40 SC/ST under the official conditions.
Fee and Stipend
- SC/ST/PwBD: no application fee. All others: Rs 500 including intimation charges and GST, non-refundable.
- Monthly stipend: Rs 16,650 including government subsidy, if any. Bank share Rs 10,500; government share Rs 6,150 through DBT under applicable guidelines.
- No other allowances/benefits. Stipend is adjusted for loss of pay. Training duration is 12 months.
